In essence, any business operating in the hospitality sector should be focused on providing the best customer experience possible.
In most cases, walk in cold rooms in hospitality will be installed in the kitchen area. Kitchens are naturally a warm environment and any heat generated by a cold room should be dispersed away from the working area. In these instances, we would recommend using remote refrigeration systems only. Due to the fire risk within a kitchen environment, we would also recommend using PIR panels (please see options page for more information on this). Cold rooms constructed with this type of panel can be designed to any size to fit the working space.
Whilst not all applications are the same, our experience would tell us that rooms in this sector would use personnel doors, foodsafe washable racking and strip curtains (to reduce energy loss).
